About the project

Why The Red Heifer Project exists

To study Scripture deeply, understand the sanctuary more clearly, connect faith with whole-person health, and point people toward the hope of restoration in Jesus Christ.

Our mission

The Red Heifer Project exists to help people understand God's work of restoration through Scripture, sanctuary theology, health, medicine, history, and the writings of Ellen G. White within a Christ-centered Seventh-day Adventist framework.

Why start with the red heifer?

Because Numbers 19 brings together questions that extend far beyond the ceremony itself. Why does contact with death result in ceremonial uncleanness? What does purification mean within Israel’s worship? How does cleansing relate to the sanctuary? And what does Scripture teach about death, hope, and restoration?

Those questions lead naturally into the sanctuary, the ministry of Christ, the state of the dead, resurrection, healing, and the promise that one day death itself will be gone.

Why include medicine?

Seventh-day Adventist Christianity has a longstanding commitment to whole-person health. We believe the body, emotional well-being, spiritual life, and compassionate care all deserve thoughtful attention. Medicine provides evidence-based tools for understanding health, disease, prevention, and treatment, while Scripture provides a broader framework for human dignity, purpose, compassion, service, and hope.

Where we hope this grows

Over time, we hope to build a useful library of Bible studies, articles, visual resources, videos, health education, medical missionary material, and teaching tools for churches, students, families, and healthcare professionals.

As the project develops, its purpose will remain clear: study faithfully, teach carefully, serve compassionately, and keep Christ at the center.
